Alcaraz – Tommy Paul: what time is the game today, schedule and where to watch the 2024 Olympics quarterfinals

Carlos Alcaraz continues to soar toward the medals. After easily handling the fourth round against Roman Safiullin, the Spaniard will face a familiar opponent, Tommy Paul. The American, the first top-20 rival in Paris, comes off a win in the fourth round against Moutet, the last French player to be eliminated, as well as victories over Czech Mensik and Italian Darderi. Like Alcaraz, Paul has not dropped a set and, as the current Queen’s champion, is eager for revenge after Wimbledon.

As the second seed in Paris, Alcaraz will return to the court without rest after a day with a doubleheader, having played in the quarterfinals of the doubles tournament alongside Rafa Nadal.

Their match in the Olympics quarterfinals will be the sixth meeting between Alcaraz and Paul. Overall, the Spaniard holds a three-win lead following his victory in London. Their reunion in Paris will be their first encounter on clay.

Paul, for his part, arrives in form and as the only American left in the singles draw. The New Jersey native will also take to the court without rest, having played a singles match and a doubles match with Taylor Fritz the day before his clash with Carlos.
