Andy Murray Mother admits she didn’t enjoy last five years of son Andy’s tennis career

Former British professional tennis player Judy Murray has candidly revealed the challenges she faced during the latter stages of her son Andy’s illustrious career.

In an appearance on the popular daytime show Loose Women, Judy admitted that the last five years of Andy’s tennis journey were particularly trying due to his persistent injury struggles.

“It was the stress of something going wrong and the expectation,” she explained. “I did not enjoy the last five years. I had my heart in my mouth every time he was playing.”

Andy Murray, who retired from professional tennis this summer following the Paris 2024 Olympics, had a storied career marked by numerous achievements. However, the final years were overshadowed by recurring injuries, which undoubtedly took a toll on both Andy and his family.
