Angel Reese Reacts To Emotional Encounter With Young Sky Fan
Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese has become an overnight sensation to some fans, but to others, she’s been a star for years.
Reese spent two years with the LSU Tigers in college, making a widely known name for herself at the collegiate level.
She hasn’t just stamped her name as one of the biggest brands in women’s basketball; Reese has been one of the most talked about athletes by fans, media personnel, and even opposing players over the last year.
The rookie has 512k followers on X and 3.3M followers on Instagram. She’s a fan favorite, seemingly becoming an idol for young women in the sports world.
Reese has been putting on a show all season for these fans, as well as the franchise. During the Sky’s 4-6 season, she’s averaged a near double-double with 11.6 points and 9.6 rebounds.
She’s one of only two rookies to average double-digits, next to the Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark.
The rookie recently reacted to an emotional encounter she had with a young fan, saying “Awww” via X.
The level of impact Reese has had on the court is evident, but it’s a different level of influence when a fan says, “Ok, my plan is to get Angel Reese to touch my sweater,” per Kae on X.
