Emma Raducanu makes new stunning move after skipping Toronto, Cincinnati qualifying

Emma Raducanu has made a decision that some may find surprising as the British tennis player is back in London after skipping the Toronto and Cincinnati qualifying and it is also unclear whether the former world No. 10 plans to play in Cleveland or Monterrey next week.

In case you have missed it, Raducanu kicked off her North American hard-court swing by making the quarterfinal at the WTA 500 tournament in Washington. But then, her schedule plans were probably ruined after the WTA 1000 tournaments in Montreal and Cincinnati didn’t give her a main draw wildcard.

For months, it has been clear that Raducanu is avoiding playing in qualifying. And because of that, she may enter the US Open with just one tournament played leading up to it although she is perfectly healthy.

The sister of Raducanu’s coach reveals some interesting details
On air, former British tennis players Laura Robson and Naomi Cavaday touched on the Raducanu matter.

“I was going to ask you actually, with your brother being her coach, why was [there] the decision to not play qualifying?” Robson asked Naomi, whose brother Nick coaches Raducanu.
