SIMON’S CHARITY MOVE: Simon Cowell gets creative for a new charity auction—don’t miss your chance to be part of this heartfelt cause!
Simon and Eric Cowell have joined a host of big name celebrities to raise money for a children’s heart charity – by drawing artworks which will be auctioned off.
Cowell and co have put pen to paper for their one off ‘heart’ masterpieces for Chain of Hope. They have drawn their own artwork in the hope of raising funds for the live saving charity. Others taking part include model Kate Moss, Ronnie Wood, Dame Judi Dench, Idris Elba, Stephen Fry, Ozzy Osborne, Alex Hassel, Niall Horan, Joanna Lumley, Ian McKellen, Sienna Miller, Jill Scott, Paloma Faith and Cara & Poppy Delavigne.
Simon Cowell, 65, said: “I thought this idea was brilliant! I really hope this will raise money. My drawing clearly demonstrates I can’t draw or paint. However, it was great fun. Cowell opted for a large heart whilst son Eric filled his picture with miniature ones.
Kate Moss has also provided a very colorful piece of work for the auction. There will be a live auction at the Saatchi Gallery on February 6, where Simon and Eric’s artwork will be auctioned to the highest bidder.
