VICTORIA BECKHAM has opened up about her marriage to David Beckham in a rare insight, addressing the concerns she had prior to their 20th wedding anniversary.

Victoria Beckham was worried she and David Beckham would have little “to say to each other” away from their busy, family life. The fashion designer, who this weekend is launching her new beauty range, cerebrated 20 years of marriage to her former footballer spouse, 44, on July 4. The couple marked the big milestone with a romantic trip to Paris together, without their four children. Now the 45-year-old has admitted she thought conversation might be lacking but she was very wrong.

Speaking to the Telegraph Magazine, Victoria recalled what had bothered her on leaving sons Brooklyn, 20, Romeo, 17, and Cruz, 14, as well as daughter Harper, eight, at home.

She commented: “I said to David, ‘God, what will we have to say to each other when it’s just us?

“But we talked and laughed the whole time, and not even about the kids or work.”

When asked if he sends himself up, the former Spice Girl continued: “He’s better at sending me up.
